I've had my SS fully extended with 2 people sitting on the end, no problem. I weigh 225 and the other person was heavier.
You cannot go wrong with this...It is one of the best "usable" mods out there.

This is a great product. After it arrived, unpacked it, put it together and installed I would not be one to say that this is an alternative. It is a bonafied product. Looks great, works great, and well worth the money.

Works like a champ and love it I can't tell you how many times I have shown it to people when I'm loading my AV and all the questions I get about it. The grocery loaders at the commissary love it when I use the SS since they don't have to push things deep into the cargo bed.
My only wish is I got the low profile version instead of the standard model. Would have loved the extra depth since I don't normally remove the bed covers to load stuff.

I received my SteelSlide 2 days ago. Because I didn't follow the instructions properly I mounted it wrong. I emailed Steel Slide a couple of times because I thought he sent me the wrong one. I was very upset and Steel Slide was very helpful to guide me through the process and corrected me. Steel Slide responded to every single email I sent. Their customer service is more than excellent, very responsible and the product is top notch.

I have had my SS for a few weeks now and I have already passed your name on to a few people that saw me using this in parking lots. (my wife shops a lot so we're frequently loading packages in the back and the Steel Slide sure helps.) Thanks. Now I am trying to decide on the best way to secure bags of groceries, Should I tie down a laundry basket, install a cargo net or just get a life. I must have too much time on my hands if I worry about figuring this kind of stuff out.
